All the world's a stage -- get on it!
Let's Pretend Summer Camp 2008 is celebrating 11 years of fun and imagination! In Let's Pretend we take performing arts to a new level with instruction in dance, vocal performance, improvisation, stage combat, characterization and audition skills. Our fun, creative-based curriculum will build a stronger more confident child, and what parent wouldn't want a program that delivers all this!
Throughout the week, guided by professional teacher/directors, each student will be encouraged to communicate more effectively, solve problems through theatre games and exercises, develop mental discipline and think creatively both as individuals and as members of a team to "put it all together"—from the audition, through rehearsals, to the end-of-the-week performance for friends and family. Some of the plays we've performed in the past include, The King and I, Cinderella, The Lion King, Peter Pan, Annie, Oliver!, Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz.
Camps are held Monday-Friday from 10:00-2:00 with the performance and cast party on the last day. Multiple camp dates and locations convenient to Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Cumming, Duluth and Johns Creek are available. Be sure to check out the camp schedule and register for the specific camp location and date that's most convenient for you. Don't let your child miss this valuable opportunity to explore the wonderful world of their imagination. Camps fill up early, so register now!
