Lisa Johnson, the founder and director of Let's Pretend, holds a Master of Arts degree in theatre and has worked in the Atlanta area for over 25 years as an actress, director and award-winning playwright. As a playwright, Ms. Johnson has had her plays produced both in various theatres in Atlanta and in New York City. Ms. Johnson was the founding artistic director of the Devereux Center Theatre, a program which earned both statewide recognition and national acclaim. Directing credits include Fiddler on the Roof, The Wiz, Little Abner, Guys and Dolls, The Music Man, South Pacific, The King and I, My Fair Lady, West Side Story, The Diary of Anne Frank and The Miracle Worker among others. Ms. Johnson has been involved in educational theatre, playwriting and improvisation workshops around Atlanta and has also done freelance directing at both public and private schools including The Marist School, Milton High School and King's Ridge Academy. |

Erin Greer has been performing since the age of three. While attending the University of Georgia, she performed with the Athens Creative Theatre and Oconee Youth Playhouse. In recent years she has worked with the Towne Lake Arts Center, Kudzu Playhouse, Redrum Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre and the Oglethorpe University Theatre Department. Currently, Erin is an acting apprentice with the Horizon Theatre Company and is understudying for the theatre's main stage production. Erin looks forward to the coming year with Let's Pretend and is thrilled to share her love of the performing arts with tomorrow's budding thespians! Break a leg, Let's Pretend! |

Leslie Kelley holds a B.A in Theatre and an M.A. in Communications and has been teaching drama and directing children’s theatre in the Atlanta area for over 20 years. She was a teaching artist at the Alliance Theatre for 15 years and taught both drama and dance at Roswell Recreation and Parks for 12. Leslie has directed several shows for Curtain Call Youth Players and is the Artistic Director for the Sprout’s program (plays for young children) at Kudzu Playhouse. Most recently she developed the CREATE program for at risk teenagers doing drama with and for pre-school students at the Child Development Association in Roswell. Before beginning teaching and directing, Leslie performed in over 50 shows around the country. |

Nancy Riggs has been a professional actor and puppeteer working mostly in Atlanta for over 20 years. She has been teaching drama to all ages for about 15 years, including several years for Let's Pretend. You might have seen her work in Dinosaurs at the Center for Puppetry Arts, or in Piccadilly Puppets shows all over town. She has worked for many other theatres, including the Alliance, the Shakespeare Tavern, the Atlanta Lyric and Theatre Gael. She also sings, dances and tells stories. In her spare time, Nancy is a competitive ice skater. |

Carla Selden is a Georgia native with over eleven years of acting experience. She has a BA in Theatre from Georgia Southern University and is currently working on a Masters in English Education at Kennesaw State University. Her stages credits include Bye Bye Birdie, A...My Name is Alice, Long Day's Journey into Night, A Piece of My Heart, Hamlet, and many more. She is trained in Children's Theatre and has taught in the International Arts Academy. Carla is looking forward to her first year with Let's Pretend!

Kristyl Dawn Tift is an actress, singer, writer, director and educator. She holds an MFA in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School and a BA in Theatre from Georgia Southern University. She has brought myriad characters to life on stage -- both Off-Broadway and Regionally -- in The Aurora Theatre's Buy My House, Please!, True Colors Theatre Company's The Wiz, Little Shop of Horrors, Violet, The Lady of Larkspur Lotion, The Odyssey, Blues for an Alabama Sky and more. In 2008, Kristyl served as Assistant Professor of Theatre at Georgia Southern University. There, she directed the mainstage musical, On Dragonfly Wings. She is very excited and happy to be a part of Let's Pretend! |
